Research conducted on hacker conference attendees has been reported in a new publication containing a collection of studies related to hacking. Survey participants were given the Autism-Spectrum Quotient questionnaire and two thirds scored in the intermediate range. The researchers concluded that the results of the survey indicated hackers thinking and behavior are not much different from people working in computer science, mathematics, and natural science.
